Baltimore, MD (December 30, 2008) -- Despite the financial crises that continue to threaten economic collapse 5.9 billion dollars was earned in online advertising revenue between the months of July through September, closing the 3rd quarter.  This is according to a report published by the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), a standards organization made up of 375 leading media and technology companies.  These companies are responsible for 86% of online advertising in the United States.

According to the report, this figure increased 11% when compared to Q3 of 2007.  In addition, the earnings were 17.3 billion dollars for the first 3 quarters of 2008 vs. 15.2 billion for the first 3 quarters of 2007, a 13% increase overall (source: IAB - Interactive Advertising Report).

To what lengths are you willing to go to make money?  Well, if you are Illinois Govenor Rod Blagojevich they are fairly extreme!

Early on the morning of Tuesday December 9, 2008 the Govenor of Illinois was arrested and held in custody at FBI Headquarters in Chicago.  He is under indictment for attempting to auction off to the highest bidder the vacant Senate seat of President Elect Barack Obama.

According to the news clip from ABC News 7 the Govenor was under investigation, but was not expect to be taken into custody until the end of the month.  In an MSNBC News Services article it is reported that the FBI compiled a 76 page affidavit detailing the the Govenor's conspiricy to sell or trade the Senate seat to the highest bidder.

Baltimore, MD -- Wirespeed Wealth closed its business day with a 16.67 percent growth in revenue, tallied for the months of October and November.  The majority of the revenue came from gains due to its affiliate partnership with the fledgling Search Engine company Tybit Unified Search (view our search page here), a company that recently emerged from beta in September 2008.

In a November article on Emailwire.com Clarence Briggs, CEO of tyBit, clearly states that 'hundreds of Tybit Advars and Affiliates will be receiving their first payouts this month.'  And on December 5th we received our first check from the North Carolina based firm.

Tybit is recognized as one of the fastest growing search engines on the Internet.  In October of 2008 the search engine registered 70 million searches for the month, broke the 75 million mark in November and is on schedule to exceed that for the month of December.

When I was in grade school I had a math teacher who was thoughtful enough to teach his students about the power of compounding.  He used a simple illustration to demonstrate what would happen if you compounded the smallest amount of money possible over a 30 day period.

Even though it may seem to be a childish grade school lesson, it has stuck with me for more than 37 years.  In fact, it is one of the lessons that helped to inspire the Wirespeed Wealth concept, a concept based on creating wealth from a small amount of money.  If you bear with me, hopefully I can pass on the significance of this lesson.

The teacher began his illustration with a question: "How much money would you have if you multiplied the product of a penny by 2 over a 30 day period?"  We all sat there and thought about it for a moment, and then began to shout out our answers (we were 4th graders).  To our surprise we were not even close.
